Brand Page App (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Shopify application collects, uses, and safeguards information when merchants install and use our service.

2. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we are automatically granted access to certain information from your Shopify account via the authorized Shopify Admin APIs:

Store and Catalog Information: Store domain, product vendor names, product counts, and brand metadata.
Merchant Settings: App configuration choices such as chosen layout styles, color themes, display preferences, and custom brand details (logos, descriptions, custom URLs).

Note: Brand Page App does not collect, store, or process any personal identifiable information (PII) of your store's buyers or customers. We only process catalog vendor and brand display metadata.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information exclusively to provide and maintain the core functionalities of the App:

To aggregate and organize unique product vendors into an alphabetical (A-Z, 0-9) directory.
To generate and publish the dedicated /pages/brands storefront page and theme blocks.
To synchronize brand data with Shopify Metaobjects ($app:brand) when enabled by the merchant.

4. Data Retention & GDPR Compliance

We strictly adhere to Shopify's API License and Terms of Use and international privacy regulations (including GDPR and CCPA):

Automated Data Deletion on Uninstall: When you uninstall the App, we immediately receive the app/uninstalled webhook and delete store session tokens.
Mandatory GDPR Webhooks: We fully support and process customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks within the required 48-hour window.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser, Shopify, and our application servers is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL). We employ secure cloud databases with isolated network permissions to prevent unauthorized access.
